2. What this website does – and does not do
This website consists of static pages. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services and embeds no third-party content. Fonts, images and all other files are served exclusively from our own server; opening the site creates no connection to any third-party server.
There is no contact form and no sign-in on this website. You can reach us by email only (see section 5).
3. Visiting the website
When you open a page, your browser transmits technically necessary data to our server – in particular your IP address, the address requested, the date and time, and details of your browser and operating system. Without this data the page cannot be delivered to you.
We do not evaluate this data and do not store it in access logs: logging of page requests is not enabled on our web server. In the event of technical faults, individual error messages containing an IP address may arise at system level; we use such entries solely for troubleshooting and to defend against attacks.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing this website in a technically sound and secure manner.
4. Hosting
We host this website with Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. Hetzner processes the data described in section 3 on our behalf; we have concluded a data processing agreement with them under Art. 28 GDPR. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Contacting us by email
When you write to us, we process your email address, your name and any other information you provide in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry serves the initiation or performance of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (interest in responding to enquiries).
Our mailbox is operated through Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Your message is stored and processed there; we have concluded a data processing agreement with Google. Any transfer to third countries takes place on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses.
We retain your enquiry for as long as this is necessary to deal with it. We then delete it, unless statutory retention obligations – under commercial or tax law, for instance – prevent this. You may object to storage at any time or request deletion.
Please note: unencrypted email is not a secure transmission channel. If you would like to send us confidential documents – study protocols, for example – please get in touch and we will agree a suitable route.
6. Links to other websites
This website contains links to external offerings. Clicking such a link takes you off our site; we have no influence over the data processing carried out by the respective provider. No data is transmitted automatically to these providers unless you click the link.
7. Encryption
This website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (TLS). You can recognise this by the “https://” in your browser's address bar.
8. Your rights
You have the following rights towards us in respect of your personal data at any time:
- access to the data we process (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- objection to processing based on a legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR)
If you have given us consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out up to that point remains unaffected.
An informal message to info@q-rad.de is sufficient to exercise these rights.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe that we are not processing your data lawfully, you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:
